Role Overview

An innovation hub and startup accelerator is seeking a tech-savvy and startup-minded Business Manager to oversee operations, manage strategic initiatives, and provide critical support to the Group CEO. The organization is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs, fostering digital transformation, and driving scalable ventures across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hub and accelerator operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with strategic goals
• Support the Group CEO in driving and monitoring strategic initiatives across the organization and its portfolio companies
• Collaborate with startups, mentors, investors, and ecosystem partners to deliver impactful acceleration programs
• Analyze financial, operational, and program performance data to identify growth opportunities
• Prepare reports, business plans, and investor-facing presentations for the Group CEO and stakeholders
• Streamline internal workflows and introduce tech-driven solutions for productivity and scalability
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness
• Lead or support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of team members
• Build and manage strong relationships with vendors, partners, regulators, and key ecosystem stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced certification is an advantage)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in business management, operations, or strategic leadership, preferably within the tech, startup, or innovation ecosystem
• Strong knowledge of the startup lifecycle, accelerators, incubators, and venture ecosystems
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record of executing strategic projects in fast-paced environments
• Highly tech-savvy, with proficiency in digital collaboration platforms
