## Title: Business Development Professional - Oil and Gas
About the Role
A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to drive business growth in the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and markets within the oil and gas industry
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase the company's market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and client needs
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, tenders, and presentations to clients
- Drive the full business development cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure
- Collaborate with operations, technical, and finance teams to align service delivery with client requirements
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company policies in all business dealings
- Provide periodic reports and forecasts on business opportunities, pipeline, and revenue targets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
- Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in the oil and gas service sector
- Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, especially upstream, midstream, and downstream operations and services
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience in bidding, contract negotiation, and tender processes
- Results-driven and target-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM software is a plus
