## Title: Business Development Officer
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to drive business growth and strengthen customer relationships in the oil and gas downstream sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain new customers while managing relationships with existing clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas downstream sector
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning
- Promote the company's products (petroleum products, lubricants, LPG, etc.) to clients and negotiate sales contracts
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring timely communication and support
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales reports to management
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Work closely with internal departments (operations, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade fairs to build networks and enhance brand visibility
Requirements
- OND/HND qualification or Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of relevant work experience
