## Title: Business Development Officer

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to drive business growth and strengthen customer relationships in the oil and gas downstream sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain new customers while managing relationships with existing clients
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the oil and gas downstream sector
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning
  • Promote the company's products (petroleum products, lubricants, LPG, etc.) to clients and negotiate sales contracts
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and its customers, ensuring timely communication and support
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales reports to management
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Work closely with internal departments (operations, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade fairs to build networks and enhance brand visibility

Requirements

  • OND/HND qualification or Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 years of relevant work experience
