A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Responsibilities - Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the Bank’s goals. - Identify new market opportunities, products, and partnerships. - Drive deposit mobilization and loan portfolio growth across branches and channels. - Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs. - Set sales targets and KPIs for Relationship Officers and Marketing staff. - Lead, coach, and supervise business development and marketing teams. - Plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities. - Ensure effective cross-selling of the Bank’s products and services. - Oversee loan sourcing and ensure quality loan origination. - Review and recommend loan proposals in line with the Bank’s credit policy. - Monitor portfolio performance, including PAR and NPL ratios. - Support recovery efforts on delinquent accounts. - Manage key accounts and high-value relationships. - Build strategic relationships with individuals, SMEs, associations, and cooperatives. - Ensure excellent customer experience and retention. - Ensure all business development activities comply with CBN regulations and internal policies. - Promote strong KYC, AML/CFT, and customer due diligence practices. - Identify and mitigate business and credit risks.
