Business Development Officer at Transkredit Finance Company

Position Summary

As a Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in improving the organization's market position and driving financial growth. You will effectively manage your team to meet and exceed targets, define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities. You are expected to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the finance and investment industry.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Client Retention

• Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with customers within the hospitality and multilaterals segments who require loans and advances to support their business
• Effectively manage assigned team to meet and exceed targets
• Manage existing clients' portfolios and develop new business opportunities by generating risk assets within the multilaterals and hospitality markets
• Leverage the company's existing relationships by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing contact initiatives
• Prepare sales pitches, presentations, and other documents required for client engagements
• Assist in the development, launch, and sales of new product offerings
• Act as liaison between the company and existing/prospective clients

Credit Management and Coordination

• Oversee the coordination, execution, and monitoring of credit extensions from approval through maturity
• Serve as the primary interface with clients
• Ensure complete, accurate, and balanced risk assessment in credit approval presentations
• Coordinate the approval process, manage information flow, and ensure credit follows the stated approval process for facility limits
• Maintain clear communication between the company and clients while ensuring internal approvals are consistent with client expectations
• Ensure compliance with related credit policies and procedures
