## Title: Business Development Officer
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Business Development Officer at Sixthlab Medical Nigeria Limited in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development and Client Acquisition
- Identify and research potential clients, partners, and new market opportunities
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain clients in both private and public sectors
- Generate qualified leads and follow up to conversion through consultative selling
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations with prospective clients
- Prepare tailored business proposals, quotations, and tender documents
Client Relationship and Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Provide after-sales support and ensure client satisfaction and loyalty
- Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales documentation
Strategic Planning and Market Intelligence
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Provide feedback to management on market conditions, pricing strategies, and product performance
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to plan promotions, exhibitions, and marketing campaigns
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build networks
Sales Performance and Reporting
- Meet and exceed assigned sales and revenue targets
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives
- Provide accurate forecasts and contribute to planning and budgeting processes
Negotiation and Contract Management
- Negotiate terms and close sales that align with company objectives and profitability goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical business practices in all transactions
- Follow up on payments and ensure timely receipt of funds
