Business Development Officer at Mitera Health

About the Role

The Business Development Officer at Mitera Health HMO will be instrumental in driving growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our member base. This role involves developing and executing strategies to introduce Mitera Health's innovative health-tech-insurance solutions to new corporate clients, individual members, and healthcare providers, fostering sustainable business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and evaluate new business opportunities and target markets for Mitera Health HMO's services and products
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targets and expand market share
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients (corporations, SMEs), brokers, and healthcare providers
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations of Mitera Health's Mapp mobile application and health plans to prospective clients
• Negotiate and close new business deals, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company objectives
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Underwriting, and Operations teams to develop tailored solutions and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and members
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify challenges and opportunities
• Prepare detailed proposals, reports, and sales forecasts for management
• Represent Mitera Health HMO at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and customer acquisition strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in business development, sales, or account management, with a strong track record of achieving targets
• Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
