About the Role

Tomsey Engineering and Services International Limited is seeking a qualified Business Development Officer to join our team in Lagos. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, generating leads, and building strong client relationships to drive business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, niche markets, and growth opportunities
• Analyze competitors and industry trends to inform business strategies
• Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and prospects through various channels, including social media, networking events, and cold calling
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
• Act as a trusted advisor to understand clients' evolving needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Create compelling business proposals and presentations tailored to potential clients' specific needs
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales strategies and negotiate contracts
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development strategies and make necessary adjustments

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Business Development Officer or in a similar role
• Experience in project management and sales is highly valued
