The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth for our solar energy products and solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to deliver tailored solar solutions
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for clients and management
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities
Required Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields)
- 3–5 years of proven experience in solar sales or renewable energy business development
- Strong understanding of solar systems, products, and technical specifications
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Based in Abuja or willing to relocate
