About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion through new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and increased market share. This role involves identifying potential clients, developing business proposals, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in planning, developing, and executing business strategies that align with the company's overall objectives and ensure competitiveness in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's market presence and product reach across various regions
- Identify and evaluate potential clients, distributors, institutional buyers, and partnership opportunities
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, and presentations tailored to client needs while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies
- Oversee key accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Ensure excellent after-sales service to build long-term customer loyalty
- Conduct periodic market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, product gaps, and opportunities for diversification or product innovation
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Finance teams to ensure seamless coordination from product development to market delivery
- Lead and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve assigned targets
- Develop regional distribution plans and manage the performance of field sales representatives
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare monthly business reports
