## Title: Business Development Executive

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to drive business development initiatives and build strategic partnerships across the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop technical and commercial knowledge of all product offerings and services
  • Contribute to the attainment of the company's business development strategies
  • Identify immediate and long-term client needs for company products and services on projects
  • Arrange meetings between E&P Companies and company partners
  • Liaise between the company and key industry agencies such as NAPIMS and DPR
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with partners and clients, developing a deep understanding of their needs
  • Identify application areas on client sites and make appropriate proposals on product benefits and usage
  • Identify and recommend technical assistance for key customers as appropriate
  • Prospect for and acquire new, financially viable high-volume customers
  • Prepare and deliver effective product presentations to clients
  • Understand the full working of Joint Venture Partners and new technology
  • Gather market intelligence for reports, tenders, and presentations to win company contracts on ongoing and upcoming projects
  • Define strategy for relating with each customer group and create Customer Relationship Plans per group
  • Collate client-specific intelligence and produce weekly reports
  • Interface with industry regulators and follow up on submitted tenders
  • Generate work orders, Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Purchase Orders (PO)
  • Effectively manage each customer account to ensure sales targets are fully achieved
  • Collate and communicate business intelligence
  • Ensure full payment for all supplies and services
  • Reconcile customer accounts and ensure proper documentation
  • Provide regular updates on plans and progress
  • Demonstrate consistent sales development success and target-driven achievement

Required Qualifications

  • University degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
