## Title: Business Development Officer
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Officer with proven experience in the supermarket or retail sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, improving sales strategies, and identifying new business opportunities within supermarket operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, foot traffic, and overall profitability
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market trends within the retail/supermarket space
- Monitor competitors' activities and recommend strategic improvements
- Work closely with store management to optimize product positioning, pricing, and promotions
- Analyze sales performance and prepare regular reports with actionable insights
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key customers
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of supermarket operations, sales cycles, and customer behavior
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and growth targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business strategies
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset
