Job Summary

TAAS College is seeking a highly qualified, innovative, and forward-thinking Biology/Agricultural Science Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, skilled in modern pedagogy, and capable of integrating Artificial Intelligence, digital tools, and contemporary teaching approaches into classroom instruction to enhance student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Biology and/or Agricultural Science effectively at the secondary school level
• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with national curriculum standards and future-focused education models
• Integrate AI-powered tools, digital platforms, simulations, and data-driven teaching methods into lesson delivery
• Foster critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry among students
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO, etc.)
• Maintain accurate academic records, lesson notes, and continuous assessment reports
• Participate actively in staff meetings, trainings, workshops, and school programs
• Support innovation in teaching, learning, and school-wide academic development
• Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting discipline, ethics, and lifelong learning

Professional Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Agricultural Science, Education, or a related field (B.Sc / B.Ed)
• Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) is an added advantage
• Valid TRCN certification is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of modern teaching methodologies and curriculum delivery
• Proficiency in ICT tools, virtual learning environments, AI-assisted teaching platforms, and educational software
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills

Experience

• Minimum of 5–8 years of teaching experience in a reputable secondary school
