Job Summary

The Baker will prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked foods. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Measure, mix, and prepare dough, batters, and fillings according to recipes
• Bake pastries, pies, bread, and other baked products
• Decorate and finish baked goods as required (e.g., icing, glazing, garnishing)
• Monitor baking processes and make adjustments when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Ensure consistent product quality and presentation
• Experiment with and develop new recipes to meet customer preferences

Requirements

• OND qualification
• 1 year proven experience as a baker
• Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety standards
• Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
