Key Responsibilities - Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on construction equipment such as excavators, graders, compactors, loaders, and trucks. - Troubleshoot faults in wiring systems, alternators, starter motors, lighting, control systems, and electronic modules. - Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. - Install, upgrade, and calibrate electrical components on heavy machinery. - Keep accurate maintenance and repair logs. - Ensure compliance with HSE standards during all repair and maintenance activities. - Collaborate with mechanics, plant operators, and the Plant & Maintenance team to ensure smooth equipment operations. Requirements - Minimum 5–7 years proven experience as an Auto Electrician, specifically working with heavy-duty construction equipment. - Strong understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and machine control units. - Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical schematics. - Certification in Auto Electrical Work or relevant technical discipline (Trade Test, OND, or equivalent). - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. - Strong safety awareness and adherence to site protocols.
