## Title: Audit Officer
About the Role
Ajoke Group Limited seeks a dedicated Audit Officer to conduct comprehensive audits of financial records, inventory, and operational processes. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the integrity of our internal control systems across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular audits of financial records, inventory, and operational processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Review sales transactions, distribution reports, and warehouse documentation to verify completeness and authenticity
- Assess internal controls over inventory management, stock movement, and reconciliation between physical and system records
- Evaluate the effectiveness of logistics, procurement, and cash-handling procedures to identify potential risks or inefficiencies
- Verify supplier invoices, customer billing, and discount structures to ensure transparency and prevent revenue leakage
- Perform surprise audits of warehouses, depots, and retail outlets to confirm compliance with operational standards
- Identify irregularities, discrepancies, or fraudulent activities and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and practical recommendations for improvement
- Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and report progress to senior management
- Support management in strengthening internal control systems and promoting a culture of accountability
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to distribution, sales, and financial reporting
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial and operational information
Required Qualifications
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree
- 1 – 2 years of relevant audit or financial experience
