Position Overview
The ATM & Card Support Officer will provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of ATM and card payment systems. The officer will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain ATM and card networks, support internal teams, and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to maintain high availability, security, and reliability of all card and ATM services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for ATM, POS, and card systems
- Monitor system performance and respond promptly to alerts or issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks
- Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams for system upgrades and maintenance
- Support deployment of new ATM machines and card services
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and service tickets
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal operational guidelines
- Support audits, security checks, and regulatory inspections
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff and colleagues on ATM and card systems
- Collaborate with IT, operations, finance, and customer service teams to optimize service delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
- Relevant certifications in ATM, card processing, or banking technology (advantageous)
