Assistant Manager, Accounting Services Unit

Position Overview

A leading firm is seeking a Chartered and experienced Accountant to join their Accounting Services Unit. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts and cash flow statements for clients and office using Sage Evolution software
• Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of all profit centers in the organization
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
• Manage clients' financial reporting processes, including preparation of periodic management accounts, bank and other reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processes, and cost and management accounts for accuracy and efficiency
• Support strategic decision-making through accurate financial information and analysis
• Perform audits, reviews, and evaluations of financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy, legality, and compliance with regulations
• Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation
• Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and best practices
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, documents, and databases

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in accounting or financial advisory services
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management
