## Title: Area Sales Manager - Modern Trade
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales of our brands and increase brand visibility in the modern trade sector. The successful candidate will execute brand strategies, manage product launches, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to inform brand decisions
Product Management
- Manage product launches, including positioning, pricing, and promotional plans
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure brand-aligned product development
- Manage budgets, timelines, and campaign evaluations
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment
Performance Analysis
- Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics (sales, market share, brand awareness, etc.)
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve brand performance
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field
- 5-7 years of management experience in modern trade or related field
- Proven track record of successfully managing brands and driving business growth
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with household items or FMCG brands (preferred)
