## Title: Area Manager

About the Role

Bemil Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee operations, staff management, and security personnel across multiple locations in Lagos. This position combines HR administration, operational supervision, and client management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit and screen security guard candidates for clients, conducting thorough vetting and document verification
  • Administer employment forms and guide candidates through the proper completion process
  • Oversee employee orientation, training, and communications/interpersonal skills development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records and attendance entries
  • Arrange employee physical examinations and ensure timely submission of all new staff documentation before deployment
  • Prepare and submit reports on leave, allowances, entitlements, overtime, and payroll documentation
  • Patrol and supervise security guards across different assigned locations
  • Conduct risk assessments and prepare detailed reports on findings
  • Act as liaison between employees and management on complaints and concerns
  • Supervise administrative staff including drivers, cleaners, guards, and assistants at the branch office
  • Maintain and manage company property, vehicles, motorcycles, computers, and communication devices
  • Collaborate with other departments on voucher payments and related administrative matters
  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage employee and client relationships effectively
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in area management or similar supervisory role
  • Strong HR administration and staff management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct vetting and document verification
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and report writing
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and employment documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations
  • Strict adherence to company policies and procedures
