## Title: Architect / Quality Assurance Officer

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for this combined Architect / Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) position.

Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, and construction details using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software
Develop conceptual designs, schematics, and layout plans for new and ongoing projects
Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness
Participate in project planning, design presentations, and design coordination meetings
Advise the project team on materials, finishes, and design alternatives
Conduct site visits to ensure the project aligns with design intent
Collaborate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to resolve design conflicts
Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety requirements

Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Assurance and Quality Control plan
Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards
Monitor construction work at all stages: foundation, blockwork, concrete pours, steel works, roofing, finishes, and other structural elements
Prepare QA/QC checklists and ensure adherence by contractors and site teams
Review materials delivered to site and ensure they meet required standards and specifications
Identify non-conformities, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure closure with corrective actions
Maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, test reports, and site diaries
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality standards are upheld
Ensure all construction stages undergo proper testing and inspection (slump test, concrete cube tests, waterproofing tests, etc.)
Conduct weekly quality review meetings with the project team

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Sc.)
Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in architecture
Membership or student membership of ARCON, NIA, or related professional bodies (added advantage)
