American History Tutor (Online) at Brint School

About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic American History Instructor to join our growing online learning community. In this role, you'll teach and inspire learners through engaging virtual lessons that explore the people, events, and ideas that have shaped the United States — from its colonial beginnings to modern-day America.

You'll help students connect the past to the present while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and meaningful discussions in a supportive online classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach interactive online classes on key topics in American history
• Create engaging digital content and activities that make history exciting and relevant
• Guide learners through thought-provoking discussions and assessments
• Offer feedback and encouragement to help every student succeed
• Collaborate with the academic team to enhance lesson quality and learner experience

Required Qualifications

• Degree in History, American Studies, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of U.S. history and the ability to make it engaging for diverse learners
• Great communication skills and comfort with online teaching tools (Zoom, LMS, etc.)
• A passion for education, storytelling, and helping students see the value of history

Preferred Experience

• Previous online or classroom teaching experience
