## Title: Aircraft Engineer – Boeing 777
Position Overview
The B777 Engineer is responsible for performing inspections and certifying maintenance work carried out on company and third-party aircraft in line with regulatory requirements and company standards. This role upholds high safety standards and scheduling integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign and carry out inspections, repair, replacement, and modification tasks on aircraft and aircraft systems
- Plan resources weekly (manpower, materials, and tooling)
- Allocate and supervise tasks and activities for a team of technicians
- Troubleshoot multiple systems in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Make decisions on optimum material and resource usage, task allocation, quality, and maintenance deviations in line with regulatory requirements
- Communicate with internal and external customers regarding aircraft progress status, required parts, and aircraft serviceability
- Ensure tasks are performed to meet company standards and targets
- Review work procedures and standards and propose improvements to ensure effectiveness
- Identify and requisition required aircraft parts and tools
- Report incidents and accident occurrences per company procedures
- Ensure maintenance tasks are recorded accurately and signed to maintain correct and up-to-date aircraft history and data
- Adhere to company safety, health, and environmental policies
- Supervise and develop technicians for improved competency and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, or Instrumentation)
- EASA type training on the B777 with Trent 800 and GE Engine options
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance certifying experience on the B777 fleet
- EASA/ICAO Type II Basic License (B1 or B2) with B777 Endorsement
