## Title: Advocacy and Communication Manager

Position Overview

The Association of Women Living with HIV and AIDS in Nigeria seeks a qualified Advocacy and Communication Manager to lead advocacy, policy engagement, and communications strategies that influence decision-makers, amplify project outcomes, and ensure donor visibility.

Objectives

  • Lead advocacy, policy engagement, and communications strategies that influence decision-makers and amplify project outcomes
  • Ensure donor visibility and compliance with branding requirements

Key Responsibilities

Advocacy & Policy Engagement

  • Develop and implement evidence-based advocacy strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Engage policymakers, civil society organizations, networks, and government institutions at national and sub-national levels
  • Support policy dialogue, learning events, and stakeholder forums

Communications & Visibility

  • Lead content development, storytelling, and media engagement
  • Document and communicate project results to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with organizational branding and visibility requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in advocacy and communications roles
  • Strong skills in advocacy strategy development, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement
  • Demonstrated experience working with media and managing public communications
  • Proficiency in digital communications, content development, and reporting
  • Ability to translate complex project results into compelling messages
