Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our finance department. The Account Officer will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals
• Assist with daily accounting transactions, including postings and reconciliations
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
• Assist with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and statutory requirements
• Support audits by providing necessary financial records and explanations
• Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments on finance-related matters
• Perform any other accounting or finance-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience in an accounting or finance role
• Basic knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
