Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and cashflow management
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain compliance with regulatory, tax, and audit requirements
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to drive excellence, efficiency, and accountability
• Implement strong internal controls and process improvements across finance operations
• Collaborate with management to support strategic financial planning and investment decisions
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and key internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master's degree is an added advantage)
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent (mandatory)
• Strong accounting experience (minimum 7–10 years) within reputable organizations—preferably within finance, investment, or related sectors
• International travel exposure outside Africa
• Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit coordination, budgeting, and compliance
• Excellent analytical skills, leadership ability, and attention to detail
• High integrity, maturity, professionalism, and strong communication skills
