About the Role
The Accounting Officer will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing insights to support business growth. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing statements, managing budgets, overseeing audits, and supporting strategic financial planning. The Accounting Officer will work closely with management and the auditor to ensure financial stability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory filings
- Support internal and external audits
- Develop budgets and monitor expenditures
- Manage payroll
- Provide financial analysis and forecasts to guide management decisions
- Advise on cost-saving measures and financial strategies
Required Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Location Requirement
Candidate should reside in Ota, Ogun State or its environs.
