About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accounting & Finance Manager located in Lagos or Abuja. You will oversee the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance. This role involves managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring accuracy of financial data, and coordinating with other departments to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Maintain accurate, timely, and up-to-date financial records
• Prepare and present key financial reports including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to management

Treasury & Cashflow Management

• Monitor cashflow, liquidity, and overall financial health of the business
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure alignment with internal records

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide decision-making
• Monitor budget performance, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions

Compliance & Controls

• Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements (FIRS and other relevant authorities)
• Establish and maintain effective internal controls

Strategic Support

• Provide insights to improve cost efficiency, revenue growth, and business profitability
• Partner with senior management to develop strategies for financial sustainability and expansion
• Contribute to building a positive, high-performance, and results-driven finance culture within the company

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in accounting or finance management
