Accountant at HOP Mobile Transport Limited

An established company is recruiting for the following position. - Maintain and update general ledger accounts including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll. - Record all transactions related to rides, logistics, and fleet operations. - Reconcile daily transactions with ride-hailing and driver payment systems. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Monitor and report revenue trends, driver payouts, commissions, and operational costs. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. - Handle tax calculations and ensure statutory compliance (e.g., VAT, PAYE, company income tax). - Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies. - Generate financial reports to support decision-making for operations and growth. - Use accounting software and internal dashboards to ensure transparency and accountability. Requirement - Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP systems). - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools. - Familiarity with ride-hailing or transport operations is a plus. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
