Accountant at First Metro Infrastructure Limited

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: - Prepare financial statements, ledgers, and monthly reports. - Manage general ledger postings, journal entries, and reconciliations. - Handle accounts payable and receivable. - Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations. - Support month-end and year-end closing activities. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Maintain proper documentation and support audit processes. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - 4–5 years hands-on accounting experience. - Proficiency with financial systems and Excel. - Good understanding of IFRS/GAAP and statutory compliance. - Experience with general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting. - Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. - High level of integrity and attention to detail. - ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
