A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Role Description - This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Lagos State, Nigeria. - The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring budgets, conducting financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. - Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, assisting with audits, and providing financial insights to support decision-making. - The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments and demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills. Qualifications - Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management - Minimum of 3 to 4 years accounting experience. - Skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management - Experience with financial software and tools such as Excel and accounting systems - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking - Understanding of regulatory compliance and audit preparation processes - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA) is a must - Prior experience in the retail or toy industry is a plus Check how your CV aligns with this job
