Accountant – Abeokuta at Helean Global Limited

About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking the right talent to join as an Accountant. You will play a critical role in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee invoicing, monitor collections, and ensure proper revenue recognition
• Ensure accurate reporting of project and company-wide financial performance, maintaining compliance with IFRS and internal policies
• Verify supplier invoices, process payments to contractors and vendors, and maintain updated reconciliation of payable accounts
• Track expenses, materials, and stock usage for the site
• Provide necessary schedules, documentation, and explanations to auditors, ensuring smooth and timely audit closure
• Prepare and file VAT, WHT, and CIT schedules, ensuring timely remittances and adherence to tax regulations
• Maintain complete and organized financial records, update the accounting system, and ensure audit-ready documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• Professional accounting certification (ACA or ACCA)
• 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Demonstrated experience in project reporting and company-wide financial performance
• Proficiency in SAP
