About the Role

An established company is seeking an Account Officer with a strong understanding of the technology environment to manage financial operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for management and stakeholders
• Assist in developing and managing company budgets and forecasting future financial performance
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulations
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Maintain accurate financial records by entering and managing all financial transactions
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely payments and optimize cash reserves
• Handle payroll activities, including calculating salaries, deductions, and tax withholdings
• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes and ensure data accuracy
• Ensure financial operations are in compliance with accounting standards, laws, and company policies

Required Qualifications

• Accounting degree or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools

Required Skills

• Strong analytical ability to analyze financial data, identify key insights, and provide actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information clearly to various stakeholders
