## Title: Account Officer

About the Role

The Account Officer manages the company's financial records and handles daily transactions including invoices, payments (AP/AR), expenses, and account reconciliations. This role involves preparing financial statements, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Responsibilities may include compliance support and audit coordination depending on operational needs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed financial records, including general ledger entries, cost records, and transaction histories
  • Process invoices, send bills, track payments, and manage collections for overdue accounts
  • Regularly reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts
  • Prepare financial reports and statements, analyze data for insights, and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and support audits
  • Handle client account inquiries, build relationships, and resolve discrepancies

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED minimum; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Proven bookkeeping experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with accounting software and other financial systems
  • Strong mathematical and computer skills
