## Title: Account Officer
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this Account Officer position.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Reconcile bank statements and company ledgers
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Track and manage company expenses and ensure proper documentation
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Respond to financial inquiries from management and other departments
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures and systems
