## Title: Account Officer
Job Summary
The Account Officer will manage financial transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and support the finance team in ensuring compliance and timely reporting. This role is pivotal in monitoring revenue streams, controlling expenses, and supporting budgeting processes specific to the media and entertainment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash operations
- Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely payments to vendors and staff
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Support internal audits and provide necessary documentation
- Collaborate with production, marketing, and operations teams to track project-related expenses
- Ensure timely invoicing and collection from clients, sponsors, and partners
- Assist in payroll processing and other financial tasks as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or HND
- 5–8 years of relevant experience
