## Title: Account Manager

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join their finance team. The Account Manager is responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, optimizing cash flow, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders. This role requires financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze Management Reports and Management Accounts for strategic decision-making
  • Process receipts, expense reports, and routine banking transactions
  • Conduct financial audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

  • Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and payments, including FIRS, pension contributions, and WHT deductions
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

Cash Flow & Budget Management

  • Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability
  • Review budgets and expenditures with the CEO and provide monthly financial reports
  • Assist in preparing and submitting monthly project expenditure forecasts and cash requests to management

Vendor & Inventory Management

  • Supervise and manage inventory procurement processes
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, service providers, and external stakeholders

Strategic Planning & Collaboration

  • Participate in financial planning and analysis to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with company strategies
  • Balance the general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries

Required Qualifications

  • HND or B.Sc Degree
