## Title: Account Manager
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Account Manager.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business Management, Communications, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Business Administration, or any other related field (minimum 2.2/Upper Credit)
Key Responsibilities & Competencies
- Penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts and sectors
- Implement both strategic and tactical account management initiatives
- Develop and manage sales pipeline with strong commercial acumen
- Coach and challenge teams through the sales process
- Lead business development and client relationship management in a B2B environment
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for increased sales
- Synthesize information quickly and present insights to senior management
- Monitor industry trends and local market dynamics
Required Skills & Attributes
- Structured, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling
- Expert understanding of best practice account management methodologies (such as Pursuit)
- Excellent quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills
- Strong communication and business writing capabilities
- Persuasive negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent presentation abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management in competitive B2B environments
- Active listener with strong business judgment and ownership mentality
