## Title: Account Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Account Manager to oversee the accounting department at a Pharmaceuticals Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily accounting operations and ensure proper financial recordkeeping
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Manage creditors, debtors, and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure healthy cash flow
  • Supervise invoicing, bank reconciliations, and payment processing
  • Ensure timely remittance of all statutory obligations (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.)
  • Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Maintain effective internal control systems and financial policies
  • Supervise and guide accounting officers, cashiers, and other finance support staff

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc or HND in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
