Position Overview
Naji Realties seeks a dedicated individual to serve as an Accounts/Administrative Intern. The successful candidate will assist the accounting and administrative teams with various tasks, including financial record-keeping, data entry, administrative duties, and related responsibilities. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounting and administration.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support:
- Assist with data entry, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Reconcile statements and prepare financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Perform other accounting tasks as required
Administrative Support:
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
- Assist with filing, scanning, and photocopying documents
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events
- Perform other administrative tasks as required
General Duties:
- Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the company's policies, procedures, and systems
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
- Participate in special projects and tasks as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Accounting (preferred)
- Proven experience working as an accounts assistant, accounts clerk, or similar role
- Must currently be serving in Abuja
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
