Accident & Emmergency Nurse

Position Overview: - We are seeking a competent and dedicated Accident & Emergency Nurse to provide urgent and critical nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting emergency physicians in delivering timely, safe, and high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Triage and assess patients presenting to the emergency unit. - Provide immediate nursing interventions for acute and critical cases. - Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously. - Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency treatments as prescribed. - Assist doctors during emergency procedures and resuscitation. - Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. - Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are strictly followed. - Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and relatives. Requirements: - Registered Nurse (RN) qualification. - Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) license. - Post-basic qualification in Accident & Emergency / Critical Care / Emergency Nursing - Minimum of [5] years experience in emergency or acute care setting preferred. - Ability to work under pressure and make quick clinical decisions. - Strong teamwork and communication skills.
