Yoruba Teacher (Primary and Secondary)

Position Overview: - The Yoruba Language Teacher will be responsible for teaching Yoruba language and culture to primary and secondary school students in line with the approved curriculum and school standards. Key Responsibilities: - Teach Yoruba language effectively at primary and secondary levels. - Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials. - Assess students through tests, assignments, and examinations. - Promote Yoruba culture, values, and proper language usage. - Maintain classroom discipline and support students’ academic growth. - Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities. Requirements: - Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or B.A in Yoruba or related field. - Teaching experience at primary and/or secondary level. - Strong communication and classroom management skills. - Passion for indigenous language preservation and education.
