Position Overview: - Create an aesthetically supportive learning environment that fosters inquiry, creativity, critical thinking, and independence, ensuring learners meet their learning goals. - Establish and communicate clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. - Identify learners with special needs and develop individualized learning plans where necessary. - Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to suit learners’ interests and learning styles. - Collaborate with other teaching staff and school administrators to promote best practices in teaching and learning. - Monitor learners’ academic and social development and set achievable targets for improvement. - Build strong, trusting relationships with learners, parents, and colleagues. - Track learners’ progress through assignments and examinations and provide timely, constructive feedback. Requirements: - B.Ed in a relevant discipline (M.Sc is an added advantage). - Proven experience as a Yoruba Teacher, preferably in an international school. - Sound knowledge of various teaching methodologies. - Deep understanding of the Nigerian Curriculum. - Patient, resilient, and learner-focused personality. - Strong dedication to pupils and a genuine passion for education. - High level of ICT competency. - Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong organizational ability. - Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
