About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and seeking an experienced Wells Supervisor III. This is an expert-level position designed for a late-career professional with deep technical expertise and strong communication skills. The Wells Supervisor III will provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and oversight across drilling and completion operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and support less-experienced drilling and completion engineers
• Provide oversight of drilling programs and ensure continuity and consistency in practices across multiple rig lines
• Advise on well planning, well design, and operational surveillance for safe and efficient drilling and completion programs
• Interface with Affiliate/Business Unit teams on logistics, environmental, regulatory, procurement, and cost stewardship activities
• Develop and lead longer-term team performance improvement initiatives and engineering studies
• Continuously identify and implement efficiency improvements in drilling and completion operations
• Participate in vendor clarifications, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), and package acceptance activities
• Review and respond to specification deviation requests
• Review drawings and specifications for compliance and accuracy
• Address human factors engineering and ensure safety of personnel and equipment in conjunction with Topsides and/or O&M contractors
• Assist in developing and reviewing commissioning and System Integration Test procedures
• Support construction and commissioning efforts as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Civil preferred)
• Extensive experience in drilling, well, or construction operations
• Expert-level competency in one or more drilling and completion technical areas
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience mentoring and developing engineering professionals
