About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Stellar Group as a Weighbridge Officer in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Weigh inbound and outbound trucks and accurately record their gross and tare weights
• Enter all relevant data into the weighbridge system, including product details and truck information
• Issue weigh-in tickets or offloading advice slips to truck drivers
• Receive and retain all necessary documentation, such as waybills, for record-keeping purposes
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on weighbridge activities and highlight any unresolved issues for supervisors
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, logistics staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
• Conduct regular inspections of weighbridge equipment and report any malfunctions
• Ensure that the weighing process adheres to site rules, industry standards, and health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with computer systems
