Water Treatment Specialist

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Purpose of Job - To manage and operate the water treatment systems to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality water for production processes, while complying with environmental regulations and maintaining efficient and safe operations. Principal Accountabilities - Operates and monitors water treatment systems, including filtration, chemical dosing, and purification processes, to ensure a continuous and reliable supply of high-quality water for production processes. - Conduct regular sampling and testing of water quality parameters to verify that water meets required standards and specifications. - Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on water treatment equipment to maintain optimal performance and prevent equipment failures. - Maintain accurate logs of water treatment operations, including test results, and maintenance activities to support compliance and facilitate continuous improvement. - Identify and resolve issues with water treatment systems promptly to minimize downtime and enhance continuous operation. Job Requirements Education: - Minimum requirement: Minimum of an ND in a Science-related field. Added advantage Experience: - Minimum requirement: 1 - 2 years of experience in a lab or as a WTP operator. - Must reside within the Apapa/Mile 2/Surulere axis.
