Warehouse Supervisor at Rotic Aluminium Extrusion

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Warehouse Supervisor to manage our finished goods store at our facility in Awka, Anambra State. This role involves overseeing the loading of goods into trucks, managing laborers, writing waybills, and maintaining inventory records to ensure efficient and accurate outbound logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the loading of goods into trucks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to delivery schedules
• Manage and supervise laborers involved in loading and unloading activities
• Prepare and issue waybills for outgoing shipments
• Meet daily loading targets as a key performance indicator
• Maintain accurate inventory records of finished goods
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile physical stock with system records
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures during loading and unloading activities
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to outbound shipments
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient outbound logistics operations
• Develop and implement plans to monitor storage utilization levels
• Record and monitor stock levels

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of HND in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience of 2+ years in logistics, warehousing, or a related role
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using inventory management and logistics software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in logistics operations
• Willingness to work long hours
• Ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities
