Warehouse Assistant Officer

About the Role

As a Warehouse Assistant Officer at Iknorbert Communications Limited, you will support the Team and Head of Warehouse & Logistics in receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management

• Conduct daily stock-taking exercises before end of business day
• Track, store, and organize products within the warehouse
• Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking
• Coordinate physical stock transfers to other branches as requested

Order Fulfillment

• Process customer purchases and prepare orders for supply in accordance with specifications
• Perform DCR scanning and order verification
• Confirm the quantity and quality of goods received from the clearing agent in their presence
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for supply with accuracy in labeling and packaging
• Ensure immediate supply of customer purchases upon receipt of invoice
• Confirm each sale before supply to the customer

Shipping and Receiving

• Handle incoming and outgoing transfers, ensuring correct goods are received and dispatched
• Arrange goods and stocks in line with requirements and established procedures for easy identification
• Assist in loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles
• Prepare periodic activity reports
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse appearance at all times

Safety Compliance

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• Complete other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

• Proximity to Ikeja, Opic, or Ojodu Berger (preferred advantage)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills
• Attention to detail in order accuracy and product handling
• Physical capability to perform lifting and manual warehouse tasks
