Job Summary

The Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience at the hotel's restaurant, lounge, and bar areas. She takes orders, serves food and beverages, maintains cleanliness, and ensures all guests are attended to promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
• Present menus, explain specials, and answer customer questions
• Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen/bar
• Serve meals and beverages efficiently and with courtesy
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction
• Handle customer complaints politely and report issues to the supervisor

Operational Duties

• Set up dining areas before service (tables, cutlery, condiments)
• Clear and clean tables after guests leave
• Keep the restaurant, lounge, and bar area tidy at all times
• Assist with stocking supplies (napkins, glasses, trays, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with hotel hygiene and safety standards

Cash Handling

• Present bills and process payments accurately (POS or cash)
• Maintain proper record of transactions as required

Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow waiters
• Communicate guest needs and special requests clearly
• Participate in team briefings and training sessions

Qualifications & Skills

• SSCE/OND qualification minimum
• Previous experience as a waitress is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Neat appearance and good personal hygiene
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Customer-friendly attitude
• Basic math and POS handling skills

Work Conditions

• Shift-based schedule (morning, afternoon, or night)
• Long standing hours may be required
• Must be available during weekends and holidays
