Waiter at Greywood Hotels and Apartments

About the Role

We are looking for a professional and attentive Waiter to join our hotel's Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure a pleasant dining experience for guests, and support smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
• Present menus, take food and drink orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally
• Check in with guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and respond to any additional requests
• Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
• Process bills, handle cash and card payments, and issue receipts accurately
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other wait staff to ensure smooth service
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including proper handling of food and beverages
• Assist with setting up dining areas for events, banquets, or special occasions
• Report any guest complaints or service issues to the supervisor for prompt resolution

Requirements

• SSCE, GCE, or NECO qualification
• 1 year of work experience
